Or…perhaps the issue is outdated and unnecessary expectations for what constitutes a professional workplace.
Perhaps the issue is companies failing to adapt, modernize and (most importantly) correctly incentivize younger workers.
Perhaps the issue is that younger workers by and large do not have families to support when they join the workforce, and thus are not likely to find a low paying, menial, unstable job at a company built and run by people their grandparents age terribly inviting.
Perhaps the problem is that Western society has created a closed system defined by an obsolete set of rules and norms that ensures older generations retain their grip on power, and rewards homogenization over innovation.
But yeah, it’s probably the dirty sneakers and t-shirts…
