Pete Ross, I agree with you that getting in better shape doesn’t require a lot of money, and fitness can be as simple as buying a cheap pair of shoes and going for a run. I also would agree that clearly, Peleton is a company that knows who its clients are, and what the service/goods are that they provide those clients. Nothing wrong with a company making money off of their product. I just think there’s getting to be more and more of a disconnect between those looking to get in shape, and the companies that are set up to help them do that. The one thing I will say that is clearly distinct is that the less money you spend, the more self-motivation you have to have. The vast majority of money is spent by people looking to hire someone to motivate, train, and push them, since they can’t or won’t do it themselves.
